Let us suppose that the any point C on ground from which angle to A which is top of the object is 60°.This is known as Angle of elevation.

In simple words , it is angle formed by person eye to the top of object.

What Is Angle Of Depression ?

Some ratios of sides of right angled triangle with respect to its Acute angle are known as trigonometric ratios of Right triangle.

Basic Formulas used in Exercise 8.1 chapter 8

Sin θ = P / H

Cos θ = B / H

Tan θ = P / B

Cot θ = B / P

Sec θ = H / B

Cosec θ = H/ P

Sin θ × Cosec θ = 1

Tan θ × Cot θ = 1

Cos θ × Sec θ = 1
